Under the auspices of His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian National Authority, a 17-truck relief convoy was dispatched to the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria on Monday, August 6. The joint relief effort was sponsored by Palestinian businessman and philanthropist Munib R. Masri and a number of Palestinian businesses.
